When are the Christmas Markets GC on? CMGC will run from 4pm until 10pm on December the 16th, 17th & 18th in 2022
Does it cost to attend? No. The markets are completely FREE to attend with free entertainment every night, opportunity for free Santa photos and a free Christmas movie on Saturday night.
Can I bring my dog? Yes! The CMGC welcomes well behaved furry friends on leads but please keep them away from food areas. Thank you.
Will there be an ATM onsite? Yes. Most stalls have card payment facilities but we also have an ATM onsite for your convenience.
Where are the Christmas Markets GC? The CMGC is held at the Broadwater Parklands in Southport, directly across the road from Australia Fair Shopping Centre at the east end of Nerang St.
Where can I park? Over 300 car spaces available at the Broadwater Parklands plus many other car parks nearby. Find car parks by clicking HERE
Will the markets proceed in wet weather? Yes! The CMGC will proceed rain or shine.

Vendor Questions
How much does a site cost at the CMGC? Site prices vary depending on the day you wish to attend and the number of days. Please click HERE to view site costs.
How do I apply to be a stallholder at the CMGC? Please read all of the info included in the Stallholder Guidelines before completing the application form which can be found HERE
What size are the stall sites at the CMGC? All stall sites are 3m x 3m. Food vendor sites may be larger.
Do I need my own Public Liability Insurance? Yes. All stalls, food vendors and contractors must have their own public liability for at least $10,000,000 as per City of Gold Coast Council regulations. The CMGC is covered for public liability for up to $20,000,000.
Can I leave my stall set up over the three nights? YES! We have an overnight canine security unit patrolling the markets to ensure the safety and security of stalls but we recommend you take any valuables and cash home with you.
Do I have to book for all 3 nights or can I do just one or two nights? We have a limited number of single night sites available. However, three night sites will be given preference over single night attendance.
Is power available to stall holders? We have limited sites available with access to power for an additional fee. Power is only available to three night stallholders and food vendors.
When will my application be approved? As we are a very small organisation of volunteers, application approvals will now be done at the end of the month for all applications received in that month. Your approval could take up to 4 weeks depending on when you apply.
